Fabric I ordered for a new quilt pattern arrived yesterday. I render most of my patterns in solids, so I’m always wanting to recreate them just as I lay them out. I don’t often do solid only quilts, but I’m really looking forward to this one.
Templates are being tested before I send off to Jill to cut an acrylic one for me. I always think having a template makes the job go so much faster, but this quilt can be done precisely or not, so I love that no one will be required to buy a template. But, if you’re like me, and like tools that make the job easier, there will be a template for that.
Newman can’t stop cramming himself into this basket. He was quite funny the other day, getting his whole body in there and then trying to roll on his back so I could rub his belly. Funny kitty.
As snug as a bug in a rug! …or a fat, fluffy cat in a too small basket, at any rate.
I love seeing Newman, he is so gorgeous! I have a kitty that likes to climb into small boxes. She would adore this basket!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing Newman with us. I'm sick with a wicked bad cold and needed a reason t smile.

Aw Newman is so gorgeously cute. Those pictures just made me smile so much. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA! Oh, Newman. You're the best kitty ever. Oh, wait - I better say SECOND best. I don't want to get myself killed in my sleep or anything. :-)
ReplyDeleteOh, Newman… I do delight in your cat antics.
ReplyDeleteThe colours and solids are really intriguing me… And she does make great templates! I have only just begun to play around with them (I get a little hesitant with the curves…) but I'm getting better at using them.
I can't wait to see this quilt!
Lovely fabrics and silly kitty!
ReplyDeleteOkay, that's a funny cat!
ReplyDeletesilly kitty. Mine also likes my basket and often will lay inside, directly on top of my roving while I spin yarn. Of course he just looks at me like I'm the wrong one because didn't I know he was helping?? haha
